1. Do you like presenating information? (why or why not)
A: It depends on the subject, because usually i do not like presenting but if it is something that i like, then i’ll enjoy presenting it to the class.

2. What do you think are the key elements in a good speech?
A: Some key elements in good speech are to always enunciate your words and always know what the subject is about and not to get off track.

3. What is difference between giving a speech about something you enjoy as opposed to something that you do not enjoy?
A: The difference is that when you give a speech about something you enjoy you feel better and more confident in presenting it, where as presenting something you do not enjoy, you may feel like insure about yourself and if you’re presenting it good.

4. Why do you believe powerpoint is a helpful tool to use for presenations?
A: PowerPoint is a helpful tool when using for presentations, because it makes it easier and more organized.

5. When do you think you will be using power point after high school?
A: I will probably use Power point in college, or after college when i have a job that requires lots of presenting or displaying things.

The struggles i had while making this budget list was trying to find things at reasonable prices that were necessary.It’s important to create a budget list so that you know what you need and have the right amount of money. I think my budget evened out with supplies of food and other things like health care products or other utentsils.I do i have more of an understanding of the expenses of food & budgeting. This project was easy for me and I actually did enjoy doing this project (:

Oprah Winfrey is one of the most influential people in America. Even though she had a very tough childhood, she was still able to help motivate people and help our nation. She started co-anchoring a local radio station at the age of seventeen, which then became a hit all over town. She also worked on the talk show “AM Chiago” and then that became a hit, which later turned into “The Oprah Winfrey Show”. After all her hard work, she became the number one talk show host in the nation. But unlike other talk show hosts, she focused on helping others who are in need and reaching out to those who needed help. She is the first African-American billionaire, but she has shared her wealth to help those who are in need and even though they don’t ask for it, she does it because she wants to. To me, i think Oprah is a wonderful person, and it’s amazing to see her achieve now from her past. She is truly a great person and my idol. (:

Colleges I picked : Kean University, Ramapo College, Montclair University, Stockton College, Rowan University, Rutgers University, New Brunswick. I choose these colleges because the environment and the many activities they have looked appealing. I like to be surrounded by nature because it is very calming and relaxing. One of things that I look for in colleges is small class rooms which give a better advantage of learning more. For example, for what I have read about Ramapo College, they have a large amount of diversities in their academic. This school stood out to me because they have all the majors and resources to succeed in what you want to major in. It has a small environment and it’s affordable and the location is great because it’s not far from where I live so I would be also able to commute. If I had to narrow my choices to three schools, it would be Ramapo College, Montclair University, and Rutgers University, New Brunswick.

One day after coming home from school, I go up to my room to sit down from all the walking I did. I put my head against the wall and dozed off, then something hits me and I look down to find this odd little thing sitting on my desk. It was small, square, with two arms and legs. It was wearing little brown pants, a white shirt, and a red tie. It had two big blue eyes, a long nose, red freckles, and holes on the sides of it. It was Spongebob Squarepants. I looked closer to my desk to see why Spongebob was sitting there. He was sitting on my computer keyboard holding one of my pencils, which were big compared to him. He just sat there doodling on my desk. I go up to Spongebob and ask him “What are you doing here Spongebob?” “Oh I just wanted to see if you would like to go around the world with me to find Patrick. He got lost on his way back home and ended up somewhere far far away,” Spongebob said. “Well where was he?” “His backyard.” Spongebob said. “Ha, okay I’ll go with you”. “Great, I have this box which can take us anywhere in the world but so does Patrick and I don’t think he knows how to use it” he said. It was a bright red heart shaped box. We went inside the box and our first destination was Egypt. It had painted monuments, pyramids, and the weather was so humid. The sun was right on us and it was killing me! I went up to this woman and showed her a picture of Patrick and she said he was just here. So we went back into the box and chose a random place to go. We ended up in India, where the weather was beautiful, and everything around us. The clear blue sky and crystal blue beaches were amazing. There were stands were people would sell scarves, clothes and other things with all their vibrant colors. We came across the woman who had this bottle. She said if you rub it, a genie would grant you three wishes. She gave us the bottle free and we rubbed the side of it and popped out a genie. The genie said, “Wow, thanks I’ve been stuck in that bottle for years and I have leg cramps and I think my side fell asleep. Now that you set me free, I will grant you three wishes, but choose carefully and no you can’t wish for more wishes.” “I wish I had superpowers of any kind,” said Spongebob. “Me too!” I said. “Okay, now stand still and I’ll grant you your superpowers”. POOF! And a big cloud of white fog was around us. “You now have any superpower you desire,” said the genie. “Great but only if these powers could help us find Patrick” I said to Spongebob. “Patrick? A pink starfish with odd green flower pants with a confused look on his face?” said the genie. “Yup that’s Patrick. Why, have you seen him?” Spongebob replied. “Yeah he just passed by here, I saw him through my bottle. He looked lost, and I think I hear him say something about wanting sushi?” the genie said. “Maybe he went to China,” I said. “Let’s go!” said Spongebob. When we got to china, we ended up in an unusually spot. We were by the Great Wall of China, and it seemed like it never ended! “Where could he be?” I said. “I don’t know, I just hope we find him,” said Spongebob. “Ouch” –a voice said. “What was that?” I said. “I don’t know, it sounded like’ before he could finish we heard the voice again. “ Ouch, whoa when did this wall get here, this is not a Chinese restaurant” –the voice said again. “PATRICK?!” we both said. Turns out Patrick was on the other side of the wall. We screamed his name again but there was no answer. So we screamed “PATRICK” again. “Whoa the wall can talk?” Patrick said. “Hey it is Patrick,” Spongebob said. “How do you know my name wall? Who are you??” Patrick said with a confused voice. “It’s me, Spongebob, Patrick”. “You’re a wall Spongebob?” Patrick whispered. “No Pat, I’m on the other side.” Spongebob replied. “Oh Spongebob, hey buddy.” “Pat, we need to get you home” Spongebob said. “Okay, but there’s a wall between us.” He said. “Yes I’m aware of that Pat, oh hey there’s a tree climb it then over to our side.” Spongebob said. “Okay.” Patrick replied. The tree all of a sudden said, “You could have asked to climb on my branches” “oh I’m sorry Mr. Tree” Said Patrick. “It’s okay, here let me help you.” “Thank you Mr. Tree” said Patrick. “What a nice tree” he added. Now the box had been over used too much so now we had no idea how were going to get back home. Then Spongebob said, “I have an idea! Why don’t we use our super speed to run back home” “Oh yeah we have superpowers but what about pat, I mean I don’t think I can carry him.” I said. “We still have one wish left, Pat can have powers.” Then we all raced back to bikini bottom and had a huge welcome home party for Patrick. Everything was going great, but then this giant monster ate everyone in bikini bottom and everyone was screaming. There was one person screaming “MY LEG” a million times. Then I woke up from my dream and got ready for school. THE END (:

Not everyone does the right thing, some may even just want to “go with the flow” of what everone else is doing. Some could just want to do what others are doing because they’re scared they won’t be popular or they won’t fit in. Being “popular” doesn’t always mean doing the right thing. Someone could be making fun of others just to seem funny and become popular . To me, I really don’t see anyone as “popular”, just individuals of who they are. And no one should make fun or mistreat others of who they are. Everyone’s unique in their own ways.

“10 Things That Make Me Laugh”

Well let me just start by saying I literally laugh at ANYTHING. But here are 10 things that make me laugh the most.

1#.) My friend Rachel makes me laugh all the time. She always has a cheerful face and it makes me happy and laugh.

2#.) My other friend, Angela makes me laugh because she has her random moments and sometimes just talks out of nowhere.

3#.) When my brother and I talk to each other, we sometimes think the same thing but I say it first.

4#.) In eighth grade, Sara kos and I would pretend we were hillbillies which came to a point where we sang it everyday.

5#.) Comedy shows like South park,Family guy etc.

6#.) Random faces, any kind.

7#.)Clowns. I love clowns, they always make me smile.

8#.) When I was in 6th or 5th grade, I made this face to my friend Valerie and she said it looked like a “bunny” face; still to this day I laugh at that.

9#.) Akward silence.

10#.) Sometimes when I get a joke too late, I laugh at myself.

“Travolta says he refused alleged blackmail scheme”

Actor John Travolta’s son, Jet Travolta, died from a seizure in the Bahamas in January of 2009 while they were on vacation. The paramedic Tarino Lightbourne and former Bahamian Sen. were trying to get $25millions, as a blackmail, from Travolta by putting a plot that he caused the death of his son by not taking him to the nearest hospital or by making him sign a document that John Travolta did not even get to read it at this crucial time . However, they told him that this document is a release of a liability. Furthermore, they threatened him that “if you do not pay us we will go to media with stories of intentional death or negligent of your son”. According to John Travolta’s testimony that he initially was going to fly (with his private jet) to West Palm Beach, Florida but while they are in ambulance, he asked the ambulance driver to rush to nearest hospital. Unfortunately, his son Jet was already unresponsive meaning not alive.

In my opinion, the people who are accusing Travolta are greedy and liars trying to manipulate rich and famous person.

1. List 10 new facts that you did not know before. 1#.) Bad posture can cause stiffness in joints. 2#.) Your arms and legs should be aligned with your shoulders. 3#.) Bending your wrists can cause joints to hurt. 4#.)It would be good to use a headset when at the computer so that you don’t lean over while you type. 5#.) Reducing the light on your computer can help protect your eyes. 6#.) Always keeps supplies that you need next to you. 7#.) Keep the mouse and keyboard next to you cause help to have good posture. 8#.) Don’t lean back or forward, sit up straight and your head should be aligned with your shoulders. 9#.) Keep your legs firmly on the ground. 10#.) Always keep your hand on the home keys.
2. What is CTD? CTD is cumulative trauma disorder.
3. Why do CTD’s occur? It occurs during when you over use your wrists and causes stiffness numbness. Also when you don’t sit the right way and your arms aren’t in the right position.
4. What is Egronomics. Egronomics are te way you set up how you sit at your computer. Make sure that your seat cat adjust levels of your chair and make sure it supports your whole body and that your feet are firmed on the floor.
Which fingers go to what keys? On your left hand, your pinky goes to the A key, ring finger goes to the S key, middle finger goes to the D key, index finger goes to the F key and your left thumb is the space bar. On your right hand, your index finger goes to the J key, the middle finger goes to the K key, the ring finger goes to the L key, and the pinky finger goes the ; key and your right thumb goes to the space bar.
